An event in the scope of Cosmetic 360 Week, Cosmetic’s international week organized by Cosmetic Valley from Monday 16th to Monday October 20th 2023, in France. A program that deals with national and international networking, industrial and cultural visits in link with Research, Innovation and Distribution.
During the day, you will have the opportunity to visit the company of your choice among two : Futura Gaïa & Codina Vieux Domaine both members of Cosmetic Valley.
The rotative geopony vertical farm visit :
At the crossroads of precision agronomy and cutting-edge technology, Futura Gaïa has designed a solution for automated vertical cultivation on living soil. This solution meets the needs of the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries for high-quality, pesticide-free ingredients. Our approach aims to understand plant physiology and metabolic pathways to finely tune culture parameters in order to reach the full plant potential.
Located at 3 hours by train from Paris, Futura Gaïa proposes a visit of its rotating geoponic production farm and agronomic research laboratory. Come and discover our expertise in deep understanding of plants for cosmetic use, as well as our products during a sensory workshop.
Program:
9:45-10:15: arrival of visitors
10:15 am: visit of Futura Gaïa’s farm in Tarascon and sensory workshop
11:45 am: road transfer to Rodilhan
12:15pm: visit of the agronomic research laboratory in Rodilhan
1 pm: road transfer to Nîmes
1:15 pm (optional): lunch at a restaurant in Nîmes at the expense of each participant
